Light treated bonding is a state of the art procedure for dental bonding, using targeted, high intensity light to cure the dental bonding resin. This curing procedure creates a hard, durable surface to withstand wear and tear and create a clean, natural looking tooth surface.

Light treated cosmetic bonding procedure

To prepare your teeth for bonding, a mild etching solution will be applied to the teeth, to roughen the tooth surface and allow the dental bonding material to better adhere.

Once the surface of the teeth is prepared, a specially formulated tooth-colored resin is applied to the teeth and molded to the desired size and shape, then cured with a specially calibrated high intensity light to ensure that the material is tough and durable. Finally, the finished tooth is polished and detailed, for a natural look and feel.
